To create shipment you have several ways depending on established buyers' payment method "authorization" or "authorization and capture".
If your customer used a kind of payment in which payment method is established as “authorization”, with the help of our extension you can add such combinations of actions from the order greed:
Tracking Number + Ship:
From our example, Talulah Page made an order and she receives the email with “Order confirmation” with her order number #000000011 on her email box.
Tracking Number + Invoice + Ship:
From our example, Talulah Page made an order and she receives the email with “Order confirmation” with her order number #000000012 on her email box.
Tracking Number + Ship:
From our example, Talulah Page made an order and she receives the email with “Order confirmation” with her order number #000000015 on her email box.
To generate a combination of tracking number and shipment you need to select necessary orders in the order grid. Then, tick on the corresponding checkboxes of the necessary orders. Also, select the Carrier in a dropdown list and fill in Title and Number boxes.
The next step for you is to select the Ship in the Actions dropdown list. In this segment, it is possible to add Shipment Comments, choose additional functions such as Append Comments and Email Copy of Shipment. In this case, we intend to create tracking number and shipment so all checkboxes are ticked.
After making the necessary steps, click to Submit Shipment(s).
After making all the manipulations, the confirmation of the creation shipment(s) for order(s) appears above the order grid.
For you to be sure that your actions are correct, navigate to the necessary order page and check the Shipments section.
Click View in Action column to see more details and the tracking number.
Moreover, Talulah Page received an email “Order has shipped” (with the comment and tracking number) right after your actions.

In this case, we intend to create tracking number, invoice and shipment so all checkboxes are ticked. You will also be able to choose in Capture field between Capture Online, Capture Offline and Not Capture.
After making the necessary steps, click to Submit Invoice(s).
After making all the manipulations, the confirmation of the creation invoice(s) for order(s) appears above the order grid.
For you to be sure that your actions are correct, navigate to the necessary order page and check the Invoice section.
In the Shipments section, you can find a created shipment.
Click View in Action column to see more details and the tracking number.
Moreover, Talulah Page received emails of “Order” (with the comment and number of the invoice) and “Order has shipped” (with the comment and tracking number) right after creating them.
If your customer used a kind of payment in which payment method is established as “authorize and capture”, with the help of our extension you can add Tracking Number + Ship combination from the order grid (because in such method of payment the Invoice will be created automatically).
To generate a combination of tracking number and shipment you need to select necessary orders in the order grid. Then, tick on the corresponding checkboxes of the necessary orders. Also, select the Carrier in a dropdown list and fill in Title and Number boxes.
The next step for you is to select the Ship in the Actions dropdown list. In this segment, it is possible to add Shipment Comments, choose additional functions such as Append Comments and Email Copy of Shipment. In this case, we intend to create tracking number and shipment so should tick all checkboxes.
After making the necessary steps, click to Submit Shipment(s).
After making all the manipulations, the confirmation of the creation shipment(s) for order(s) appears above the order grid.
For you to be sure that your actions are correct, navigate to the necessary order page and check the Shipments section.
Click View in Action column to see more details and the tracking number.
As was already mentioned, that in “authorize and capture” method of payment the Invoice will be created automatically. You can check it in the Invoices section.
Moreover, Talulah Page received an email “Order has shipped” (with the comment and tracking number) right after your actions.
Be attentive, you can add Ship by itself and then separately add a Tracking number to the order, but in this case, the email “Order has shipped” will be sent to the buyer without tracking number.
Note: tracking number cannot be added to the order by itself.
